Job Description

Allied Universal is seeking Security Professionals in Guelph, ON. Position:
Security Guard.

Location:

Guelph, ON. Payrate: $18.39 per hour. Status:
Part Time. Shift: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat;
Swing / Rotational Shifts.

We are looking for an experienced Security Professional to oversee one of our sites in Guelph. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, is willing to work night shifts, and can work with a dynamic security team. Experience in residential security and maintaining a high level of professionalism is preferred.

Requirements
  • At least 6 to 12 months Security experience.
  • Must live in Guelph, ON.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and wireless technology.
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Must have a valid Ontario Security License
    .
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 24 hours a week.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR is a must.
  • Valid Driver's Licence is an asset.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, occasionally climb stairs, and lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular patrols of the designated area to monitor and ensure the safety and security of the premises.
  • Maintain detailed records of patrols, documenting incidents, irregularities, and any equipment malfunctions.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, property management, contractors, and other property staff.
  • Maintain a professional attitude toward training and security protocols, including emergency response and communications.
  • Address and resolve resident complaints, ensuring total client satisfaction.
  • Support property management with any additional tasks as required.
