As a permanent part-time team member, you will work 30 hours biweekly, fostering relationships that enhance the quality of life for residents. Candidates with a diploma or degree in recreation, leisure studies, or gerontology will excel. This position emphasizes a caring attitude and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support a resident-centered social culture
• Plan and implement recreation programs for residents
• Engage with families and team members effectively
• Promote holistic care and quality of life
• Foster relationships with the resident community
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in recreation or gerontology
• Caring and respectful attitude toward residents
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Knowledge of therapeutic recreation domains
• Understanding of Long-Term Care Homes Act, 2007
