Stability Worker

Position: Housing Stability Worker at Stepping Stone
Drive change in housing success at Stepping Stone as a Housing Stability Worker. Engage directly with tenants to help navigate and overcome the challenges of homelessness.

In this part-time role at Grace Gardens, you will deliver tailored support to individuals who have faced chronic homelessness. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you’ll use your experience dealing with trauma and addiction to offer the tailored assistance necessary for recovery. Your efforts will empower residents to achieve independent living through active support and resource access.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide clients in obtaining stable housing

• Work with landlords to secure rental agreements

• Assist in developing individualized housing care plans

• Conduct assessments for appropriate service delivery

• Maintain accurate records and documentation

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in human services or similar

• Background in working with vulnerable populations

• Excellent interpersonal and advocacy skills

• Knowledge of Data Management Systems like HIFIS

• Willingness to obtain necessary certifications
