Become an E-Mediator with TO Wards Peace's E-VIBE initiative, focused on preventing youth violence through social media intervention. This part-time role allows you to make a community impact.

As part of a team dedicated to reducing violence among youth, you will utilize social media to assess risks and intervene when necessary. The E-VIBE program aims to identify and address online disputes that could lead to real-life harm, enabling you to play a pivotal role in community safety. You'll work part-time, providing insights into violence prevention strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive training as an E-VIBE E-Mediator

• De-escalate online conflicts

• Track language and trends influencing youth violence

• Monitor for problematic online content

• Support community workshops on violence prevention

Requirements:

• Proficiency in social media platforms

• Experience with community violence and youth services

• Strong understanding of social contexts in GTA

• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
