Position: Supportive Life Skills Worker Role
Support individuals impacted by homelessness at Stepping Stone as a Life Skills Worker.

Your role is vital in guiding clients toward achieving their housing goals and developing essential life skills.

This role focuses on supporting those with mental health and substance use issues by helping them create individualized support plans. You'll engage clients in skill-building activities while also overseeing their daily needs and community connections. Your expertise will enable clients to transition into stable living environments successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals with identification and housing applications

• Facilitate positive community engagement and support activities

• Document interactions and client progress within our systems

• Provide direct support for personal hygiene and safety needs

• Conduct building checks and ensure safety protocols

Requirements:

• Passion for supporting marginalized individuals

• Experience in group facilitation and life skills training

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving capabilities

• Willingness to attain required certifications

• Experience in social services or non-profit environments

Utilize your experience in life skills development and supportive care to promote client autonomy and stability.
