This role focuses on providing direct support within the Entry to School Program. Ideal candidates possess a background in Autism and Behavioral Sciences, with at least one year of relevant experience. You'll participate in creating resource materials, managing supplies, assisting children during routines, and maintaining classroom organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist children with daily routines and activities
• Prepare materials and manage resources for classroom needs
• Attend team meetings for case sharing and support
• Create varied resource materials for children’s engagement
• Complete administrative tasks, including data collection
Requirements:
• Community college diploma in Autism and Behavioral Sciences
• Minimum one year experience with children having special needs
• Proficient in computer skills, especially resource programs
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel
