Position: Guelph Intervenor for Deafblind Support

As a prominent not-for-profit, Sensity specializes in providing Intervenor Services to the deafblind community. In this role, you will engage with clients to assist them in their day-to-day activities, utilizing specific communication techniques and personalized care approaches. Key Responsibilities:

• Support clients in both home and community settings

• Employ relevant communication strategies to share information

• Assist individuals in daily tasks such as hygiene and cooking

• Provide necessary personal care and support

• Keep accurate documentation of client interactions

Requirements:

• Completion of a related college diploma or certificate

• Background in supporting individuals with disabilities

• Knowledge of ASL or SEE communication methods

• Valid G driver's license and reliable vehicle

• Excellent English communication skills
