Peer Supporter

Position: Full-Time Peer Supporter Role
Join Stonehenge Therapeutic Community as a Peer Supporter in their Crisis Stabilization program. You'll leverage your personal recovery experience to provide hope and impactful support for individuals navigating crises related to mental health and substance use.

This full-time role involves offering practical and emotional assistance to clients, helping them work towards achieving wellness goals. You'll monitor the crisis environment and engage in shared experiences that foster trust and connection. Weekend and evening availability is essential for optimal program coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to clients in crisis

• Engage in effective conflict resolution strategies

• Support wellness goals for mental health and substance use

• Conduct bed checks and medication oversight

• Assist in program evaluation and development efforts

Requirements:

• Personal experience with addiction and recovery

• Education in social services or related areas

• Proven crisis management skills

• VSS clearance for sensitive work

• Valid driver’s license and vehicle with insurance
