Plan recreation programs as a Recreation Aide at Schlegel Villages, supporting residents through caring, respectful, resident-centered service.
The Village of Riverside Glen seeks a Recreation Aide to support its resident-centered social culture. Candidates should study recreation, leisure studies, or gerontology and work within a multidisciplinary team. The position focuses on relationships, holistic care, flexible living, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and implement recreation programs for residents
- Support the resident-centered social culture
- Foster relationships with residents and families
- Work within a multidisciplinary Village team
- Deliver holistic care supporting quality of life
- Enrolled in or completed recreation, leisure, or gerontology studies
- Display a caring and respectful attitude
- Support residents, families, and team members respectfully
- Provide an acceptable Vulnerable Sector Check
- Complete required Tuberculosis screening before starting
