Data and AI Software Developer at HPS

Join Hammond Power Solutions as a Software Developer specializing in data and AI. This 12-month contract focuses on designing and implementing enterprise data solutions that empower strategic decision-making.

In this role, you'll report to the Manager of Software Development, working collaboratively across departments. Your focus will be on creating data solutions for analytics and AI, ensuring data quality and integration, and supporting users through effective training. You’ll leverage AI technologies and coding assistants to enhance software development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end data solutions for analytics and AI cases

• Implement modernization and cloud migration for data warehouses

• Ensure data quality and observability across pipelines

• Develop BI dashboards and self-service reports

• Document architecture and data flows for maintainability

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

• 2+ years’ experience in SQL and ETL design

• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and Python programming

• Experience with Azure Technologies and data handling

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
