Driver Class

Clean Harbors in Guelph, ON is seeking a Class AZ Driver to join their safety conscious team.

• Drive Vac Trucks and Tanker units throughout the GTA transporting a variety of materials (e.g., wastewater treatment materials).
• Ensure health and safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
• Operate and maintain assigned units, including Class AZ tractor‑trailer & tanker units and vac trucks and vac tankers.
• Guarantee proper loading and unloading of hazardous/non-hazardous waste.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and ensure the equipment is mechanically sound and in working order.
• Ensure proper placarding of vehicles to meet all requirements and regulations.
• Complete field‑level risk assessments and related paperwork.
• Work as part of a team with customers, co‑workers and supervisors.
• Drive units for work throughout the GTA – 401, 403 and 407 highways in Ontario.

• AZ commercial driver’s licence and at least 3 years of operating experience.
• Previous tanker experience required.
• Previous vacuum truck experience preferred.
• Manual transmission experience required.
• Complete physicality of the position.
• Adhere to all transportation compliance policies.
