Position: Driver/Grease Trap Cleaning Technician (G Licence) (Elora)

Overview  We are a small company based in Elora providing grease trap cleaning services in the KW, Guelph, Cambridge, London and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities   Clean grease traps in restaurants and other commercial kitchens using a vacuum truck. No experience with vacuum trucks required; training will be provided.
Perform daily pre-trip inspections of the work truck and ensure the care and safety of the work trucks at all times.
Operate on a fast-paced schedule to service customers before their opening.
Be flexible with start and end times; hours typically start anytime between 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., ending between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. No weekend work.
Maintain reliability and punctuality.
Be mechanically inclined and detail-oriented.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with insurance requirements (e.g., being at least 25 years old for insurance purposes; will be required to provide a clean driver’s abstract and CVOR report prior to the interview).
Qualifications   At least 3 years of driving experience.
Class G Licence (required).
Must be willing to upgrade to DZ – the timeframe will be determined once fully trained and knowledgeable about the job.
Educational background:
Secondary School (preferred).

English (required).
Schedule and Compensation   Job Type: Full time.
Pay:
From $27.00 per hour during training; $31.00 per hour once fully trained.
