Client Transportation Driver

VON Canada is seeking a Driver for Client Transportation to help transport clients to various facilities. This role emphasizes reliability and safety while ensuring clients' needs are met during transit. With a focus on service delivery, candidates must be experienced in working with seniors and individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe transportation of clients as scheduled

• Conduct daily maintenance and certification checks on the vehicle

• Complete vehicle log sheets consistently

• Support clients with their equipment during transport

• Follow all confidentiality and personal information policies

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum one year of experience with seniors or adults with disabilities

• Valid driver’s permit with a clean record

• Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds

• Knowledge of accessible equipment like wheelchairs
