Support clients on their transportation journeys with VON Canada as a Driver in Ontario. Your focus will be on safe travel and individualized care for clients during transport.
In this casual employment role, you’ll provide critical assistance by ensuring clients are securely transported from their homes to various destinations. The job encompasses vehicle maintenance, documenting journeys, and upholding confidentiality policies.
Experience with clients who require special assistance is essential for any qualified applicant.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely transport clients as scheduled
• Complete all necessary vehicle certifications
• Assist clients with mobility devices during transport
• Maintain daily vehicle logs punctually
• Comply with all safety and confidentiality standards
Requirements:
• High school diploma needed
• Minimum of one year in related experience
• Ability to manage vehicle restraints calmly
• Must have a valid driver's license in good standing
• Capable of lifting and carrying at least 35 pounds
