Dispatcher Level 1 - Logistics

Position: Dispatcher Level 1 - Logistics Role
Be part of the team at TransX Ltd. as a Level 1 Dispatcher, focusing on fleet support and customer service excellence. This role operates Friday to Sunday at our Aberfoyle location, ensuring operational success and effective driver communication.

As a dispatcher, you will manage daily driver dispatching, assist with on-road issues, maintain comprehensive shipping records, and generate billing documents. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced logistics environment. Experience in the trucking industry will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Confirm driver ready times and load requirements

• Communicate effectively with drivers for on-time service

• Maintain records of routes, repairs, and training

• Generate accurate bills and handle customer invoicing

• Utilize dispatch software for operational efficiency

Requirements:

• High School Diploma; post-secondary education preferred

• Previous dispatch experience desired

• Proficiency in Excel and TMW software

• Understanding of logistics and supply chain

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
