The Senior Transportation Coordinator is responsible for the successful execution of customer shipments while supporting carrier development and transportation procurement activities. The role balances daily operational execution, customer service, carrier relationship management, and capacity sourcing to ensure reliable and cost-effective transportation solutions. The successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of shipment performance, and works collaboratively with customers, carriers, and internal teams to deliver exceptional service.

• Respond promptly to all shipment requests, rates, and book cost shipments.
• Monitor and record relevant shipment information systematically, manage successful movement of shipments.
• Create and execute backup plans for shipments.
• Promote & maintain excellent relationships with carriers & fleets.
• Adhere to appropriate regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Develop effective solutions to shipments opportunities for customers & promote company services.
• Provide effective communication to and between external and internal customers, orders, returns, PODs.
• Respond effectively to all service failures.
• Support transportation profitability objectives through effective operational execution, carrier management, and cost control.
• Identify & facilitate process improvement projects to drive efficiency.
• Other tasks as assigned.

• 2 years experience in an operations role within the trucking industry.
• Previous experience using Full Circle TMS (Asset).
• Previous experience using 3G TMS (Asset).
• Understand current market trends, seasonality, and industry updates.
• Diploma/ Degree in Supply Chain Management.
• Responsible for following best Quality, Environmental and Sustainable practices and ensuring procedures are adhered to within day-to-day operations.
• Knowledgeable with the ISO
  9001:2015 and ISO
  14001:2015 Standard requirements applicable to assigned functions and role.
• Takes accountability and supports team to contribute to the effectiveness of the quality (QMS) and environmental (EMS) management systems.
