Position: Transportation Scheduling Associate at Medline
Become a key player at Medline Canada as a Transportation Scheduling Associate in Guelph. Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, coordinate truck traffic, and enhance operational efficiency.

In this critical role reporting to the Operations Manager, you will manage logistics processes, ensuring timely appointment scheduling for incoming shipments and facilitating outbound loads. The position requires strong communication skills and a focus on compliance, coordinating closely with carriers and the logistics team. You will also monitor trailers on-site and maintain operational reports to support efficiency in our distribution center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule appointments for incoming shipments with vendors

• Record truck and load information during gate calls

• Assign inbound trucks to warehouse doors

• Conduct yard audits for trailers on-site

• Maintain communication with logistics and operations team

Requirements:

• Proficient in English, with strong communication skills

• Basic math skills for logistical support

• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs

• Willingness to work 8-hour shifts, up to 6 days a week

• Previous warehouse experience preferred
