Job Description Summary

Pick orders to satisfy the requirements of production work orders, sample orders, and intercompany raw material transfers. Receive raw material in a timely fashion to satisfy customer demand. Ship finished product for distribution.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate activities surrounding the warehouse operations

  • Unpack, inspect, sort and put stock away in appropriate locations

  • Ensure pallets and shelving units are in good working conditions

  • Pick customer orders for shipment and ensure accuracy using an RF tracker for transactions

  • Pick and pack orders in an accurate and efficient manner

  • Organize stock and maintain inventories

  • Perform daily inspection of a forklift prior to use

  • Maintain safety compliance when operating material‑handling equipment

  • Report any unsafe work conditions that may occur

  • Open cartons with a safety knife; grasp and pull part; knot poly bags; break down corrugate

  • Operate order‑picking machine at extreme heights; operate wave machine at 10 feet

  • Maintain a clean and safe work area

Required Experience
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English

  • Basic math (addition and subtraction)

  • Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day

  • Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs, bend, twist, reach, push, lift for extended periods daily

  • Excellent work ethic and a positive attitude

  • Excellent attendance and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Previous warehouse experience

  • Certified on wave and order picker

  • Experience using an RF scanner or manual picking preferred but not required

  • Required to operate material‑handling equipment

  • Licensed with any one of the following forklifts:
    Counter Balance, Raymond Reach, Order (Cherry) Picker, or Dock Stocker (Reach experience preferred; a strong asset)

  • Ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment

The anticipated salary range for this position: $21.25 – $29.75 Hourly

Employee may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
