Job Title:
Clerk – Stores
Job Summary Responsible for maintaining the necessary inventory levels of manufacturing supplies and tools to support production requirements.
Responsibility

Receive and sort incoming parts and supplies and store in orderly and accessible manner.

Process incoming requisitions and issue or distribute parts and supplies for internal use.

Maintain records of orders and the amount, kind and location of parts and supplies on hand using manual or computerized inventory system.

Prepare requisitions to replenish parts and supplies.

Assist purchasing personnel in procurement functions on a daily basis, order replenishment, follow up with suppliers, and expedite past due orders.

Conduct cycle counts as per cycle count policy.

Academic/Educational Requirements

Completion of secondary school or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Required Skills/Experience

Strong inventory and stock keeping capabilities.

Able to read and interpret blueprint drawings.

Strong knowledge of ERP systems.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
