Warehouse Associate II – 1st Shift – 12‑Month Fixed Term Contract
Location:
Guelph, Ontario, Canada – Fully Onsite
Reports to:
Warehouse Supervisor
The Warehouse Associate II works independently with minimal direction to perform a wide variety of the Warehouse department job functions in a fast paced work environment. This includes receiving, sampling packaging components, picking for processing/packaging, and storage activities. All activities are performed in compliance with company safety and hygiene requirements, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Shift: 1st shift (7 am – 3 pm).
Key Responsibilities- Material receipt including label generation and documentation review.
- Provides the Packaging & Processing departments with the required packaging components and chemical raw materials.
- Performs sampling of packaging components as per SOP requirements and provides samples to the quality lab.
- Uses forklift to locate materials in a variety of locations, including standard racking, pushback racking and stacked on the floor. Moves and wraps completed pallets of finished goods in the Warehouse.
- Coordinates with other departments and carriers.
- Executes GMFs in the ERP system.
- Performs other related or assigned duties as required in all assigned areas.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1–3 years of warehouse related experience in a regulated environment.
- Forklift license for narrow aisle high reach and counterbalance dock truck.
- Ability to lift, pull and push up to 50 lbs and roll containers weighing up to 300 lbs.
- Strong digital literacy, including previous experience with an ERP system such as SAP.
- Ability to collaborate and work successfully in a team environment with limited supervision.
- Able to read, write, and understand English and read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Willing and able to meet the physical demands of this job including standing, walking, climbing, bending, stooping, lifting, and reaching with hands and arms.
- Previous training in the transportation of Dangerous Goods is an asset.
- Experience working in a Consumer and/or GMP environment is an asset.
Annual base salary: $41,000.00 – $66,470.00 (varies by location, skills, experience, education, and other job‑related factors).
