Warehouse Worker (also known as Warehouse Associate, Preloader, Sorter, Loader/Unloader, Shipper/Receiver)

Job Type: Part-Time Permanent

Work Location: 550 Hanlon Creek Blvd, Guelph, ON

Workdays: Monday to Friday (Must be available to work all 5 days)

Hours:

4:30 AM to 9:30 AM (Flexibility with start and finish times required based on operational needs)

Shift Duration: 3-5 hours per day

Hourly Wage: $18.50

• Load and unload packages into package delivery vehicles and trailers
• Learn and properly execute company-established package handling methods
• Sort and stock packages based on postal code

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs unassisted; typical package weight ranges from 25-35 lbs
• Full availability to work Monday through Friday (all five days of the week)
• Must be able to work 25 hours per week
• Ability to read and memorize postal codes
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced and physically demanding environment
• Comfortable working inside truck trailers and package delivery vehicles
• No prior warehouse experience required

• $18.50/hr. and automatic progression to $31.49 per hour after 48 months of service per the current Union Collective Agreement
• Tuition reimbursement up to $2,000 per semester (subject to eligibility, program approval, and satisfactory academic performance)
