Warehouse Associate

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse operations and activities, with a goal to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

• Assisting with shipping and vehicle loading.
• Receiving and unloading incoming shipments.
• Order picking, packing, and staging.
• Cycle counting and replenishment.
• Verification and stocking of materials into inventory.
• Ensuring that inventory is stored and protected from damage and readily available for shipment.
• Assisting in annual physical inventory preparation and counts.
• Safely operating and maintaining warehouse equipment and vehicles (i.e. Electric counterbalance).
• Following quality service standards and complying with warehouse and health and safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 1-2 Years previous warehouse experience.
• Minimum 1-2 Years of electric counterbalance experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills, with a customer service orientation.
• Good interpersonal skills and positive attitude.
• Excellent organization skills.
• Detail-oriented, ability to problem-solve.

Pay:
From $21.00 per hour

• Guelph, ON N1L 1M5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

• Warehouse or receiving: 1 year (preferred)
• Forklift: 1 year (preferred)
