Accounts Payable Specialist

s is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialis
t to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for an organised and proactive finance professional to join a busy environment where accuracy, efficiency and strong communication are key.

You will support the day-to-day accounts payable function, ensuring invoices, expenses and payments are processed accurately and on time.

• Processing invoices, expenses and payments
• Completing reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
• Maintaining accurate financial records and systems
• Assisting with payment runs and month-end processes
• Responding to supplier and internal queries
• Supporting financial reporting and data validation
• Ensuring transactions comply with company policies and procedures
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency
• Managing workload effectively and meeting deadlines
• Supporting wider finance and administrative activities as required

• Previous Accounts Payable, Purchase Ledger or Finance Administratio
  n experience
• Good understanding of accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good Microsoft Office and Exce
  l skills
• A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach
