Technical Reporting Accountant

Our client, a true leader in their field, are looking for a Technical Reporting Accountant to join their team for a 12 month period. The role will business partner the business unit finance teams supporting them on technical accounting treatments and provide the reporting requirements for a listed group.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of the monthly, quarterly and interim reporting.

Preparation of UK entity statutory accounts and liaising with the external auditors on queries.

Writing technical papers for IFRS changes that impact the group, ensuring that the Group is compliant with changes.

Providing solutions to complex accounting issues that arise both at a Group level and within the business units with a focus on IFRS 15.Providing financial and accounting support to other Group functions.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) coupled with experience of entity level statutory account preparation ideally within a listed business. Strong technical accounting skills with detailed knowledge of IFRS (particularly IFRS 15, 16 and
2) is also essential for the position.
