Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a Private Client Tax Supervisor to join their team in Guildford. This is a newly created role within a modern firm offering hybrid working and a genuinely interesting private client portfolio.

You will manage your own portfolio of private clients, including High Net Worth Individuals and internationally mobile professionals, taking responsibility for their tax compliance while becoming a trusted point of contact for wider tax matters.

The client base includes sporting professionals and other individuals whose work takes them around the world, so there is plenty of exposure to clients moving overseas or relocating to the UK. Any previous experience of cross-border tax would be very welcome although it is certainly not essential.

The Role

• Preparing and reviewing Self Assessment Tax Returns and associated private client tax compliance work
• Supporting clients with international moves and associated UK tax considerations
• Working on more complex private client tax matters alongside Managers and Partners
• Identifying opportunities where clients would benefit from additional tax planning or specialist advice
