Mobile Vehicle Technician providing servicing, maintenance and repair, via prebooked appointments, at customers' home address or place of work. This is a new and specialist division for the number one national breakdown company in the UK, with over 15 million members.

Pay / salary: £45,370 (inclusive of LWA) OTE:
Up to £57,000

Home based, working 40 hours per week, across 5 days (Monday to Saturday) 8am - 8pm, working 1 in 4 Saturdays. 1 day of overtime per month = £3,000 additional per year; 2 days of overtime per month = £5,000 additional per year, completely optional – more flexibility, more reward.

- Servicing and repairing vehicles (including EVs) at customer-selected locations e.g. driveway, office car park.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues.
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
- Handle payments through card transactions.
- Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
- Minimum Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance and repair or preferably Level 3 qualification (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ, or equivalent).
- Minimum 2-year post‑qualification hands‑on experience with vehicles, either in a workshop or a mobile vehicle role.
- Ability to work independently, make decisions on the go, and follow procedures.
- Customer‑focused approach.
- Full UK driving licence – maximum 6 points, no bans.
