Vehicle Technician

Our client, a reputable car dealership located in Guildford, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their experienced team. Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

Conduct vehicle health checks and routine inspections following manufacturer guidelines
Perform vehicle servicing, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and fluid top-ups
Carry out minor repairs, accessory fittings, and basic electrical and mechanical diagnosis
Complete accurate documentation, ensuring high standards of record-keeping
Test drive vehicles post-repair to verify fault resolution
Support warranty repairs and customer requests professionally and efficiently
Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and perform repairs accordingly

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic with a good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
Full UK driving licence is essential
Self-motivated with excellent team skills and a strong commitment to high-quality vehicle repairs
Enthusiastic about further training, including brand and electric vehicle accreditation

Experience with diagnostics, MOT testing, and EV systems is advantageous but not necessary
