Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester Required in Guildford for Car Dealership
Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 Basic DOE with uncapped commission, realistic OTE of £45,000 per annum.
Hours:
Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm with a 1 hour lunch break and one in four Saturday mornings for overtime.
Our client, a respected automotive dealership group with sites across the UK, seeks a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join their busy workshop. This role offers a competitive basic salary and uncapped commission, with a realistic OTE of £45,000 per annum.

- Working hours Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm with a one‑hour lunch break

- Diagnose faults and undertake minor mechanical repairs as required
- Ensure high standards of customer service and professionalism
- Maintain accurate work records and documentation
- Keep up to date with manufacturer training and technical updates
- Support the workshop team in achieving productivity and quality targets
- Level 3 qualified technician with relevant experience
- MOT testing certification (desirable but not essential)
- A proactive attitude and desire to learn and grow in your role
- Good organisational skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Clear communication skills and a professional manner
- A team player who enjoys working in a busy environment
- Interest in electric vehicle training and development (ideal)
