Sales Manager, B2B Events / Surrey / Hybrid / £45,000 plus OTE

We are seeking a commercially driven Sales Manager to lead revenue performance across a portfolio event. This senior role is responsible for delivering commercial growth, managing and developing a sales team, and ensuring the overall financial success of the event.

This opportunity suits a results-focused sales leader with experience in events, exhibitions, media, or a B2B commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and exceed personal and team revenue targets across stand sales and sponsorship
  • Manage day-to-day sales performance and sales activity levels
  • Execute the event's commercial and brand strategy
  • Develop new business and grow existing accounts
  • Identify and drive new revenue streams, including sponsorship opportunities
  • Lead, coach and develop the sales team to maximise performance
  • Monitor pipeline, forecasting and reporting through CRM systems
  • Manage the rebook process and optimise the event floorplan
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations to ensure commercial success and high-quality event delivery
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends
  • Maintain accurate financial records and provide regular revenue forecasts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners and industry stakeholders
About You
  • 1+ years' experience in a sales role within events, exhibitions, media, or a related B2B environment
  • Strong track record of exceeding revenue targets
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams
  • Commercially astute with strong forecasting capability
  • Strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach
  • Confident negotiator and relationship builder
  • CRM proficient and data-driven
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented
