Sales Manager, B2B Events / Surrey / Hybrid / £45,000 plus OTE
We are seeking a commercially driven Sales Manager to lead revenue performance across a portfolio event. This senior role is responsible for delivering commercial growth, managing and developing a sales team, and ensuring the overall financial success of the event.
This opportunity suits a results-focused sales leader with experience in events, exhibitions, media, or a B2B commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver and exceed personal and team revenue targets across stand sales and sponsorship
- Manage day-to-day sales performance and sales activity levels
- Execute the event's commercial and brand strategy
- Develop new business and grow existing accounts
- Identify and drive new revenue streams, including sponsorship opportunities
- Lead, coach and develop the sales team to maximise performance
- Monitor pipeline, forecasting and reporting through CRM systems
- Manage the rebook process and optimise the event floorplan
- Collaborate with marketing and operations to ensure commercial success and high-quality event delivery
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends
- Maintain accurate financial records and provide regular revenue forecasts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners and industry stakeholders
- 1+ years' experience in a sales role within events, exhibitions, media, or a related B2B environment
- Strong track record of exceeding revenue targets
- Experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams
- Commercially astute with strong forecasting capability
- Strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach
- Confident negotiator and relationship builder
- CRM proficient and data-driven
- Highly motivated and results-oriented
