Job Purpose
The Global Sales Operations Team is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Operations and Transformation Senior Principal to lead critical initiatives that drive the effectiveness and strategic success of our Global Sales organization. In this pivotal role, you will act as a key advisor, bridging sales strategy and execution. You will be expected to independently own and drive complex transformation initiatives from end-to-end: identifying strategic opportunities through sophisticated data analysis, defining project roadmaps, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact operational improvements.
The ideal candidate is an expert problem-solver and thought leader, adept at influencing senior leadership and passionate about leveraging Artificial Intelligence to shape the future of our sales processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Initiative Leadership:
Independently own and lead the full lifecycle of high-impact, strategic projects for the Sales department, from business case development and securing stakeholder buy-in through to execution, change management, and value realization. - Advanced Solution Design:
Collect, clean, and analyze complex sales datasets to identify performance trends, uncover root causes of sales challenges, and provide actionable recommendations to sales leadership. Use these insights to define project scope, deliverables, and success metrics. - AI-Driven Sales Innovation:
Proactively research, identify, and champion opportunities to leverage AI and automation. Develop and implement pilot programs to test the effectiveness of AI-powered tools in improving sales productivity, forecasting accuracy, and lead generation. - Sales Intelligence & Performance Reporting:
Evolve our performance measurement by designing and building advanced dashboards and KPIs. Deliver strategic insights and forward-looking analysis to leadership, not just status reports. - Stakeholder Partnership:
Serve as the primary liaison between sales leadership, front-line sales managers, and AMs/BDMs, and our internal technical teams. Translate sales department needs into clear requirements, manage priorities, and facilitate communication to ensure alignment across all projects. - Process Architecture & Scalability:
Lead efforts to re-engineer and optimize the sales motion for greater scalability and efficiency. Define and implement best practices and new methodologies across the sales organization. - Critical Operational Support:
Provide expert, data-driven insights to support key sales functions, such as strategic business reviews and sales forecasting, including capacity planning and benefits realization tracking.
- Strong progressive experience in a role shaping a Sales organization (e.g., sales operations, strategy, business analysis, or consulting).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with mastery of SQL and advanced Excel, with a proven track record of translating complex data into influential business strategy.
- Demonstrated experience in independently leading complex, cross-functional projects from conception to completion, delivering measurable business value
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with significant experience advising and influencing senior leadership.
- A sophisticated understanding of applying Artificial Intelligence and automation to improve sales effectiveness.
