Assistant Manager – Guildford High Street
Hours: 16 hours per week, including alternate Saturdays
Salary: £10,844 per annum (WTE £27,110 based on 40 hours)

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to recruit a 2 day per week Assistant Manager for our well-established, High-Street shop in Guildford, selling Furniture, Collectables and Artwork. The role entails taking in donations, managing stock levels, merchandising the shop and researching items for pricing. Top customer service is at the forefront of our shops.
About You- Previous experience within a retail or charity environment managing staff and volunteers.
- Ability to work within a small team, including volunteers.
- A high level of customer service.
- Experience of cash handling.
- Responsibility for being a Key Holder.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and manual handling procedures.
- Commercial awareness and understanding market trends.
- Ideally, knowledge of Gift Aid processes and compliance.
- Ability to take in and move heavy Furniture donations.
