Graduate Quantity Surveyor

A respected construction consultancy is looking to appoint a driven Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their Guildford team. This Graduate Quantity Surveyor position provides practical quantity surveying experience across a variety of projects, working closely with established quantity surveyor professionals. The successful Quantity Surveyor will gain exposure to both pre and post contract quantity surveying duties, supporting the delivery of full cost management services.

As the Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will be joining a consultancy with an established client base and consistent project flow across several sectors. The team environment encourages collaboration, professional development and responsibility from an early stage.

As the Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will support senior staff throughout the full project lifecycle.

• Assisting with pre and post contract quantity surveying services
• Preparing cost plans and budget estimates
• Supporting tender documentation and procurement processes
• Assisting with valuations, variations and final accounts
• Attending client and site meetings

You will be motivated, organised and committed to developing a career in quantity surveying.

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
• Strong commercial awareness
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work effectively within a team
• A proactive and professional attitude

• £30,000 – £35,000 pa (depending on experience)
