Building Surveyor

Overview

Marks Consulting Partners are currently looking for a Building Surveyor. The ideal candidate needs to be comfortable working away from home 2-3 days a week as the housing provider has stock all over the UK and as well as some experience working within social housing. This position will initially be for a 3 month period.

• Work within a small team and be competent in taking on all aspects of repairs for housing stock across the UK.
• Carry out pre- and post-inspections to ensure works meet contract standards.
• Identify building defects and take appropriate remedial action.
• Ability to manage and complete high valued projects from start to finish.
• Ability to prepare schedules and prioritise workloads.
• Manage your own workload and hold a substantial influence within the Property Services team.

• Experience in Planned Maintenance.
• Experience working within social housing is desirable.
