Belfast (Site visits typically 2-3 Days per week)

Remuneration: £50,000 + Performance related bonus

The role of Estimator – Commercial flooring will involve:

* Senior Estimator position dealing with range of commercial and residential flooring projects including painting & decorating, fit-out, strip-out and refurb

* Interpreting technical drawings, generating & following up quotations

* Producing formal quotations to customers

* Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines

* Keeping good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database

* Contacting customers, dealing with queries and providing additional technical information

* Negotiating with clients, tier-1 contractors, project managers, quantity surveyors and internal estimating team

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Commercial flooring with:

* Must have 5+ years Estimating experience within the construction sector

* Highly advantageous to have experience within flooring, fit-out, painting, decorating or come from a closely related background

* Would be an ideal to have experience dealing with Tier-1 contractors

* Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs

* Ideally would have a quantity surveying degree

* Stable career, highly organised with good attention to detail

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* IT literate (Microsoft Office)

* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
