Overview

We re working with a respected contractor delivering a prestigious highways surfacing programme across Surrey. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Surfacing Supervisor to step into a key role overseeing works on a freelance basis, with flexibility through CIS or LTD payment options.

• Manage day-to-day surfacing operations on site.
• Oversee crews, ensure works are delivered safely and to specification.
• Coordinate with site teams and stakeholders to maintain programme timelines.
• Adopt a proactive approach to problem-solving and provide strong on-site leadership.
• Maintain high standards across all works.

• Proven experience as a Surfacing Supervisor within highways projects
• Strong knowledge of asphalt and surfacing operations
• Valid SSSTS or SMSTS certification
• CSCS card (essential)
• Good understanding of health & safety regulations and site compliance
• Ability to manage teams and coordinate site activities effectively
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Full UK driving licence
