Red Sky Personnel is currently recruiting an experienced Groundworks Supervisor for an ongoing civil engineering project on a Thames Water site in Shamley Green, Guildford.

We are looking for an experienced Supervisor with a strong groundworks and civils background, including previous experience overseeing pipe laying, drainage and underground services.

Duties

Supervising groundworks, pipe laying and drainage activities

Overseeing the installation of underground services

Supervising excavation, trench preparation, bedding and back filling works

Coordinating Ground workers and plant operatives on site

Supporting and overseeing temporary works activities

Ensuring RAMS and safe systems of work are followed

Ensuring works are completed safely and in line with programme requirements

Monitoring site safety, quality and productivity

Liaising with site management and other project teams

Completing relevant site records and reporting

Requirements

Valid Thames Water Passport – essential

Valid SSSTS – essential

Valid TWS (Temporary Works Supervisor) qualification – essential

Valid CSCS/CPCS card, as applicable

Strong previous experience supervising groundworks and civil engineering projects

Good pipe laying and drainage experience

Previous experience managing groundworks teams

Good understanding of RAMS and safe systems of work

Able to provide references demonstrating relevant supervisory experience
