Senior Construction Manager / Project Director Geotechnical & Major Infrastructure

C) Excellent Salary Bonus Comprehensive Benefits The Opportunity An industry-leading specialist contractor is looking to appoint a Senior Construction Manager / Project Director to lead the delivery of major geotechnical works on one of the UK's largest infrastructure programmes. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of complex diaphragm wall and soil mixing packages on a nationally significant project, working within a collaborative NEC4 Alliance environment.
The Role You will provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple work streams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest technical standards.
Key Responsibilities Project Leadership Lead the delivery of diaphragm wall and soil mixing works Manage multidisciplinary project teams across engineering, construction and commercial Drive programme performance and project delivery from planning through to completion Build strong relationships with clients, alliance partners and senior stakeholders Health, Safety & Quality Champion a strong Zero Harm culture Lead safety initiatives, investigations and continuous improvement Ensure quality standards and technical compliance across all works Promote best practice throughout project delivery Commercial & Programme Oversee project budgets, forecasting and CVRs Manage NEC4 contracts, compensation events and change control Monitor productivity, programme performance and critical path activities Support commercial negotiations and risk management Technical & Operational Coordinate engineering, design, procurement and construction teams Provide leadership across complex geotechnical operations Ensure successful integration of all project functions Drive innovation and efficient project delivery About You We're looking for an experienced senior leader with:
