Volunteer Photographer – Guildford Football Club

Guildford Football Club is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Volunteer Photographer to capture the excitement, emotion and spirit of our teams, supporters and matchday experience. This role is ideal for an aspiring sports photographer looking to build a strong portfolio and gain hands‑on experience in a dynamic, competitive environment.

• Attend home fixtures (and occasional away fixtures where possible) to photograph matches, players, coaching staff and supporters.
• Capture high‑quality action shots, team photos, behind‑the‑scenes images and community engagement activities.
• Provide a selection of edited images after each fixture or event, within an agreed timeframe.
• Work closely with the club’s media and communications team to supply images for use on our website, social media channels, printed materials and promotional campaigns.
• Maintain organised digital archives of images, correctly labelled and dated.
• Uphold the club’s values and present a professional, respectful image at all times.

• A strong interest in sports photography and developing a career or portfolio in this field.
• Access to your own photography equipment (DSLR or mirrorless camera, suitable lenses, memory cards, etc.).
• Basic photo‑editing skills and access to relevant software.
• Ability to work reliably on matchdays, including evenings and weekends, as scheduled.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to take creative initiative within the club’s brand guidelines.
