Full-time | Monday - Friday, 7:45am - 5:00pm | No weekends
We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice / Trainee Dental Nurse to join our friendly and professional team at Guildford Dental Centre.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring Dental Nurse to join a well-established and highly regarded practice while working towards a recognised dental nursing qualification. We have a genuinely supportive, close‑knit, and friendly practice culture, led by an experienced Practice Manager. You will be fully supported by qualified dental nurses and clinicians as you learn and develop, ensuring patients receive exceptional care throughout their journey.

As an Apprentice / Trainee Dental Nurse, you will work alongside experienced clinicians and nurses, learning all aspects of dental nursing while completing your training. Full support and mentoring will be provided throughout your qualification.
You will:
- Assist dentists chairside during a variety of treatments
- Learn cross‑infection control and decontamination procedures
- Prepare and maintain clinical areas
- Support patient care and communication
- Complete coursework and practical assessments as part of your training
This role offers hands‑on experience in a supportive environment where you will build confidence and develop essential clinical skills.
About YouYou will have:
- GCSE Grade C/4 or above in both Maths and English
- Enthusiasm for starting a career in dental nursing
- A friendly, reliable, and eager‑to‑learn attitude
- Good communication skills and a caring nature
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions carefully
- Flexibility and commitment to completing your apprenticeship
- A positive attitude with strong teamwork skills
