Our client is an award-winning multi-disciplinary architectural practice who are working on a range of exciting projects, including the delivery of medium and large-scale residential developments. They are looking for talented, enthusiastic professionals to join their team in their spacious Guildford office at this exciting period of growth for their business.
The role will require you to work closely with their established team of architects, urban designers and technicians to deliver landscape led development projects for national and regional house builders across the south and east of England. They are looking for client facing landscape architects with design experience, including the preparation of outline applications, reserved matters packages, and tender construction information.
Core responsibilities will include:
Leading landscape design/landscape planning projects.
Assisting in the preparation of fee proposals.
Liaising with clients, stakeholder and external consultants.
Managing the preparation of landscape design packages, including masterplans, hard and soft landscape drawings and details, Design and Access Statements.
Carrying out site visits and appraisals.
Preparing reports and written work, including Design and Access Statements.
Mentoring junior staff.
Key skills/qualifications should include:
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent project management organisational skills.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or a closely related field.
Chartered landscape architect, with at least 4 years post CMLI experience.
Highly skilled in AutoCAD, MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
This position offers a competitive salary relative to your experience and a 4/1 hybrid arrangement. Applicants must be based within a reasonable travelling distance of the Guildford office and hold a valid driving license in order to travel for occasional site visits.
