The VacancyWe are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Architectural Assistant (Part
1) to join our dynamic architectural team. This is an excellent opportunity to support project teams across all design stages, contributing to the delivery of creative, well-resolved and technically sound architectural solutions.
The role will involve gaining a strong understanding of the architectural design process and assisting in the management and delivery of projects from concept through to completion. You will support the translation of design concepts into detailed design information suitable for construction, working in a highly organised manner with careful attention to detail.
As part of a collaborative team environment, you will adopt a flexible and open approach to problem solving, working closely with colleagues, consultants and wider project stakeholders.
Key responsibilities will include the production of accurate and consistent CAD drawings and 3D models, supporting design development, and contributing to project documentation in line with RIBA Work Stages. You will be expected to work efficiently and effectively, managing your time to meet deadlines and responding positively to changing project requirements, including adjustments to brief, programme or scope.
Your Skills- You will have a strong working knowledge of CAD, preferably Revit, grasshopper and rhino, although we will provide training
- Highly computer literate, skilled in Microsoft Office and Affinity Suite applications.
- Be a confident presenter both verbally and visually using software and hand drawing skills
- Be self-motivated with the ability to work with minimum supervision
- The role will suit a graduate of a RIBA or ARB accredited undergraduate degree or architecture graduate
- Awareness of UK Building Systems, Processes, Regulations and construction types
- Awareness of RIBA work stages
