A Design & Technology Teacher is required for a welcoming and inclusive Secondary SEN School in Guildford, Surrey (GU5). . The school supports students with a range of additional learning needs, including ASD, SEMH, MLD and speech & language difficulties.
The Role
Permanent role, available full or part time
Teaching D&T to KS3 and KS4 pupils within a specialist SEN environment
KS5 Product Design or vocational pathways available for those with the relevant experience
Delivery of practical, accessible, and differentiated D&T lessons
Working closely with support staff, therapists and the SEN team to ensure personalised learning
Opportunity to shape a creative and sensory-friendly D&T curriculum

Requirements for a Design & Technology Teacher
Applications are welcome from mainstream or SEN-experienced teachers who are passionate about inclusive D&T education.
To be considered, you must have:
Right to work in the UK
UK QTS or an overseas equivalent
A clear and up-to-date Enhanced DBS
Experience teaching D&T in UK schools (SEN experience is desirable but not essential)
A patient, creative and adaptable approach to learning.
