About the Role
Bramley Grange School is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Primary Teacher to work with secondary-aged students with SEMH needs who are working at a Key Stage 2 level.
This role is ideal for a primary-trained teacher who is passionate about supporting learners with additional needs. There is also the potential opportunity to take on Maths / Numeracy Intervention Lead responsibility, although this is not essential and will depend on experience and interest.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging KS2-level teaching to secondary-aged students
* Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of students with SEMH and SEN
* Support students working below age-related expectations
* Create a positive, structured and nurturing learning environment
* Track progress and contribute to individual learning plans
* (Optional) Support or lead Maths / Numeracy intervention programmes for small groups
The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
* Experience teaching KS2; experience in KS3/KS4 settings is ideal but not essential
* Previous experience working with SEN or SEMH learners is highly advantageous, but not essential
* Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
* Flexible, resilient and reflective practitioner
* Passion for inclusive education and student wellbeing
