Milk Education are looking for enthusiastic and confident individuals to join our team of Cover Supervisors in and around the Guildford, Surrey area.

• Supervise whole classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring lessons run smoothly
• Deliver pre-prepared work and keep pupils focused and engaged
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Provide support and guidance where needed, helping pupils stay on track
• Be a positive role model, creating a calm and productive learning environment

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Attend local primary & secondary schools in the Guildford, Surrey GU5 area to cover lessons for absent teachers.
• Deliver pre-prepared work to classes and take registers.
• Manage behaviour and ensure a safe, calm learning environment.
• Maintain school policies and support pupils throughout the day.
• Step confidently into different classrooms and year groups.

You won’t be expected to plan lessons, mark work, or have prior teaching experience — although any experience working with young people is highly desirable.

• A resilient, confident, and positive personality
• Good behaviour-management skills or willingness to learn
• Strong punctuality and reliability
• Experience working with young people (desirable)
• Qualified Teachers (QTS/QTLS/PGCE) are also encouraged to apply and will receive a higher pay rate
