Psychology Graduate SEMH Teaching Assistant – Surrey

Are you a Psychology Graduate looking to gain hands‑on experience within education, mental health, or child development?
We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and compassionate Psychology Graduates to work as SEMH Teaching Assistants across supportive schools in Surrey from September 2026.

As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will support children and young people with:
- Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- ADHD
- Communication and behavioural challenges
- Additional learning needs
You will work closely with teachers and pastoral teams to help students build confidence, emotional resilience, and engagement in learning.
Qualifications- A degree in Psychology or a related subject
- A caring, patient, and resilient personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for supporting young people
- Experience working with children or vulnerable individuals is beneficial but not essential
- Flexible adhoc supply work
- Long‑term and permanent opportunities

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
