Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new opportunity this September?
We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded specialist education provider that supports children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and associated learning and communication needs. Due to continued growth and the opening of a brand-new specialist site in Guildford this September, we are looking to appoint passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their expanding team.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of either an established specialist primary setting or a newly opening provision, helping to create an outstanding learning environment from day one.
Responsibilities- Support pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition and additional learning needs throughout the school day.
- Deliver individual and small-group learning activities under the direction of the class teacher.
- Encourage communication, independence and confidence.
- Implement behaviour support strategies and maintain a calm, consistent learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists and families.
- Adapt learning resources to meet individual pupil needs.
- Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusion at all times.
- Previous SEN experience is essential.
- Experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) is highly desirable.
- A calm, patient and resilient approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
- The ability to build positive relationships and adapt to individual learning styles.
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
- Permanent, full-time role starting in September.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
