The roleWe are seeking to appoint a Digital Scholarship and Innovation Coordinator to work in our Content and Open Research team. In this newly created role you will support the delivery of digital scholarship activities, including but not limited to the new Library Digital Scholarship Service.
You will also play a key role in providing comprehensive, effective and efficient support in the area of digital innovation applied to collections (including digitisation) and the practical application of AI solutions to improve our Library Service workflows.
About youWe are looking for a confident individual with an interest in embedding digital innovation into teaching and research. You will have an excellent understanding of the latest challenges and opportunities around digital innovation (including AI), digitisation and the digital shift of resources in the academic library context.
You will have experience of multi‑tasking while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in a busy service. The role involves delivery of training and advising on copyright matters, as required.
The post holder is expected to work some days on campus and support and train colleagues as needed.
