Humanities Teacher – Guildford & Surrounding Areas | September Start
Location: Guildford and surrounding areas, Surrey
Start date: September
Contract: Full-time (Permanent/Long-term)
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Teach Humanities across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach your specialist subject at Key Stage 5 where available.
Deliver engaging and thought‑provoking lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking.
Assess, monitor and support student progress to help every learner achieve their potential.
Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment.
Work collaboratively within a supportive Humanities department and contribute to the wider school community.
The Ideal Candidate- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has a degree in History, Geography, Religious Studies or a related Humanities subject.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Is passionate about delivering high‑quality teaching and learning.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
