SEN Class Teacher - Year 8

In line with Main Pay Scale (MPS) - Temporary Cover or Permanent)

We are seeking an energetic, empathetic Year 8 Teacher for our school based in East Grinstead. In this role, your focus will be teaching at primary education level - nurturing pastoral care, creative activity planning and delivery of foundational literacy and numeracy.

We operate a strict no-sponsorship policy; all applicants must have a permanent right to work in the UK.

Working Hours:

Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8:45 - 4, Wednesday from 8:45 - 4:30 and Friday from 8:45 - 3:30. On occasion you will be required to work additional hours to enable you to fulfil your role.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Experience working alongside and teaching Key Stage 3 pupils operating at below age expectancy.

A solid understanding of the SEN Code of Practice and digital literacy best practices.

Ability to provide your own transportation due to the school's remote location.

Eligibility to work in the UK.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check.

Term time working only, alongside 6 INSET days.

On the job MAYBO training in personal safety and conflict management.
