Tormead School is an academically selective independent school for 800 girls aged 4-18, located in central Guildford.

Educational trips and visits are a significant part of the extra and co-curricular life of Tormead. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced EVC to champion and oversee all aspects of the planning and running of educational trips. The role is key in ensuring that off-site visits continue to develop and enrich the student experience.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Deputy Head (Partnerships) to provide advice, guidance and support to trip leaders and staff, ensuring consistently high levels of customer service. The successful candidate will have the ability to develop strong, collaborative relations with our key stakeholders and the wider community.

This is a varied and rewarding post for an experienced EVC and/or trip leader. Strong administration and competent ICT skills will be required along with a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office. The role requires excellent organisational and time management skills, displaying the ability to work under pressure and multitask across all aspects of administration. A proactive, positive and flexible approach is essential.

Current OEAP approved EVC training is desirable, although training can be provided.

This is a full time, term time role with four additional weeks to be worked during the school holidays. In return, we offer a friendly and inclusive working environment.
